I didn't say "anti-social", but thanks for putting words in my mouth.

I simply said it's lazy to fix the data and ignore the problem (not 
having the right tools to do what we need to do to be able to use MythTV 
appropriately).  I also said that /developers/ and users are being 
lazy.  I'm one of the ones who has been lazy.

I'd say that slander and mis-stating (or, at the very least, 
significantly over-stating) what the developers said is just fueling the 
"assuming the worst".

And if you knew as much as you seem to think you know, you'd know that 
nothing would stop you from doing what you're currently doing.  You'd 
just have to learn something new--but I suppose it's easier to complain 
without fully understanding what's happening.
