Yes, it was the Profile Groups that were causing the pop-up.

I never use profile groups, but must have toyed with them at some point in the past to see what they were for, because I had a few of them defined.  When I changed to group 'ProfileGroup1' the pop-up message changed to 'ProfileGroup1 Settings'.

So now I've deleted all but the default one, and the pop-up no longer appears, which is great.
