Hoi Hika, I did the modprobe and now the power toggles on and off, but:

daryl at daryl-A780L3C:~$ irsend -d /var/run/lirc/lircdSerial SEND_ONCE DCT700
POWER
daryl at daryl-A780L3C:~$ sudo /usr/local/bin/change-channel.sh 21
[sudo] password for daryl:
sudo: /usr/local/bin/change-channel.sh: command not found
daryl at daryl-A780L3C:~$

the second command is not working, the script is there:
