Jay,

It would help if you could run mfdb like this and then pastebin the
results found in /tmp:

     mythfilldatabase --dd-grab-all --logpath /tmp --loglevel debug -v file,network

If you're on an older version of MythTV, adjust the above as required.
The -v file,network is the main thing.

I looked back (in this very long thread) and couldn't find your MythTV version.
The log will have that and more data about the conversation with SD.

Be sure to include your /etc/hosts entry and the pastebin URL in
your response here.
