Not sure why you didn't take Gary's suggestion to report in the:
Schedules Direct DataDirect replacement service testing
thread. But in any case, I ran a test with --remove-new-channels
(because I never tested that option.) It worked OK.
Rather than use, cron, I'd suggest running from the command line
like this:
mythfilldatabase --dd-grab-all --logpath /tmp --loglevel debug -v file,network
Be sure you don't have a stale /tmp/mythtv_ddp_data file owned by
root 1st. I'm not even sure that's the correct name for 0.24.
The output will be in /tmp and should be put in a pastebin for
all to review. Could be that there's nothing to see, or maybe
there is. Can't tell without looking. I'd also include your
/etc/hosts entry.
