[mythtv-users] recommended video capture hardware

Is the HD-PVR 1212 still the recommended hardware for HD capture? It's
been a while since I checked in on the state of affairs.

I have two and they work great, but I do worry about them dying
eventually replacements not being available. Also 1080p would be nice
at some point.

I see Hauppauge has a new series HDMI capture devices, but no Linux support. :-(
