I suddenly remember from when some weeks ago I looked into the
jobqueue that there is a field type (2 is commflagging, 4 is
metadatalookup etc), cmds (?) and flags (which I see set to 2 for
metadatlookup). It could be your onscreen markers only look for type
1, 2 and 4 or that it checks for some flags?
I just looked at https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Jobqueue_table and flags
and cmds don't seem helpful. If it is type you might need to edit your
theme to look for other types.
