Well John, you completely nailed it!   After switching to analog audio,
I've recorded over 30 minutes of video, and there's not a single glitch.
   With S/PDIF, I would have seen a problem within a couple of minutes.

You've saved me a lot of troubleshooting time, and a good bit of mental
health.   :)
