[mythtv-users] manual recording

The myth box has no listings data and this can't be fixed right now, but
tomorrow while I'm at work there's a show I'd like not to miss.

I attempted to schedule a manual recording for a given time on a given
channel, as a test to see if it would work tomorrow, but it failed with the
following message:

This showing was not recorded because this rule does not match any showings
in the current programme listings.

Well, of course: I don't have any listings, that's the whole reason for
doing a manually scheduled recording... How can I ask it to record on
channel X from time Y for duration Z regardless of the fact that I don't
have any listings?
