to put it in your own words (or close)... patches appreciated :D

I do match against thetvdb by episode title in my guide feed and the 
next stumbling block will be multiple different episode titles depending 
on the broadcaster (yeah).

PS: Sorry, but I couldn't pass that opportunity. Instead of hacking up a 
"works only for me" you (the people) might as well invest the effort 
into improving our common core.

PPS: Fred, try to put .mxml files with the preferred order/metadata next 
to the video files. I've done that for non-public productions but it 
should work equally well to override the upstream metadata.

I have not thought it through (or tested it), but you should be able to 
manually run the grabber and store the result into files, then edit them 
and put them next to the episodes.
