They need to, UHDTV is coming… sooner than most think.
I have a (very poor quality) UHDTV recording of a Football match that is 76GB, that’s a whole transponder worth of 2160p50 using H265.
There are early adopter trial services being planned for early next year, HDD manufacturers rejoice ;-)
