[mythtv-users] Recording Metadata will not update

My understanding was that in the recordings screen a title / subtitle combination and / or inetref was used to return season and episode values only - ie description and other fields were untouched.

On the other hand in MythVideo I think (but am not sure) that if available season / episode values will be used to pull metadata (inc description). I'm not sure if title / subtitle would be used if season / episode were unavailable - I assume so but note that is an assumption.
