[mythtv-users] Using mysql for other things?

So I'm sure this is a very, very, rookie question, but I'm a little
nervous about breaking things and just want to make sure this is OK.
I want to learn a little about mysql, and am reading the tutorial
online.  The instructions involve creating, then performing some
commands on a simple database.  So, unless I accidentally reference
'mythconverg' in some command, this shouldn't break MythTV, should it?
