[mythtv-users] frontend crashes after upgrade to nvidia 334.21

Hoi All,

It took me some time to find the cause. Today I ran a general update
of both my backend and frontend. Among them was un upgrade to nvidia
drivers 334.21. During the upgrade livetv I was watching crashed and
after restarting mythfrontend trying to open any recording made
mythfrontend crash. normally possible I rebooted both masterbackend and
the frontend, resulting in mythfrontend crashing on connecting to the
masterbackend. In the logs I couldn't find anything. Another frontend
just worked fine. Resetting the hostname (and thereby going to default
settings made the frontend start again. Looking at the differences in
the log I saw it using qt instead of opengl.
After rolling back to nvidia drivers 331.49 the frontend again works
normaly.
I use opengl high quality for playback. (the processor is more than
fast enough and beter cooled, so I prefer it over vdpau).
My conclusion is that some setting for opengl in the database is
somehow incompatible with nvidia 334.21. I use myth 0.26 latest
version on gentoo.
