That's unlikely to be true, and it's not what Raymond said.  OTA 
reception depends very strongly on local factors.  I believe that there 
are hobbyist websites in the US that may help with these, or perhaps 
local community groups - or an examination of local rooftops.  Or you 
might just be lucky :-)
