[mythtv-users] mythfrontend won't playback all of my recordings

Hika,

Thanks for the suggestion, but this doesn't appear to be my problem. I have
affected recordings that weren't recorded back to back with anything, and
changing my pop up settings does not appear to make any difference.

Jean-Yves,

For my mythfrontends in other rooms, I'm streaming directly from the
backend, but the affected recordings have this problem even on the
combination mythbackend/mythfrontend machine where the drives physically
reside. Also, it's only certain specific recordings that have the problem,
and other recordings on the same drive work fine. I had been looking at the
output of -v playback, but I'll try enabling the full debug and see what
pops up. I agree that the message seems to say that it's having trouble
reading the file, but I can read the files fine from a command line, and so
forth, so that doesn't appear to be the case. When you say that you suggest
a newer version, are you referring to the development version, or are you
talking about the most current 0.27 with fixes?
