This is my first time with GDB.

I just installed:

# apt-get install gdb

And execute:

# gdb /usr/bin/mythbackend
GNU gdb (GDB) 7.4.1-debian

This GDB was configured as "x86_64-linux-gnu".

Reading symbols from /usr/bin/mythbackend...(no debugging symbols found)...done.
(gdb)

But I can run the frontend, it says that it can not connect to the
backend, how could I execute the GDB?
