the changes are mostly related to liveTV program transition and metadata.
The metadata changes can be triggered manually by editing the
metadata, running a search (either recordings or video). And see how
it goes.
The program transition should be even smoother now (they were already
pretty smooth with 0.27.1), now they should virtually be unnoticeable.
If you want to simulate 3 minute program transitions, you can use this patch:
To apply it, go to the mythtv directory and do patch -p2 < livetv3min.patch
every 3 minutes a new program will be created.
it's likely going to be easier to reproduce the bug where it restart
the liveTV chain from the start, than having to wait several hours for
a transition to occur.
