recently took the leap and upgraded from 0.26 to 0.27

overall a fairly painless transition and some good improvements - but there's one or two things that are worse

watching live tv, if a 4:3 transmission transitions to 16:9 during adverts the aspect change is sometimes not picked up. also the wrong aspect occasionally carries over between channels when switching - i.e. switching from a 16:9 broadcast to a 4:3 one, the aspect is not changed. exiting live tv and then restarting the 4:3 channel means the aspect is picked up.

i also occasionally see a strange buffer issue(?) where a small amount of live tv is watched, then the channel is changed. after switching channel, the previous channels live tv is replayed in full before getting to the new channels tv.

it may be a non-default setting carried over that has caused the issues, but it was working perfectly under 0.26.

anyone got any ideas on how to debug/fix these issues?
