[mythtv-users] Still trying to get Ceton InfiniTV working

So, the good news is now that it's working--it came down to the CableCARD
not being correctly paired.
Comcast sent a tech out this morning... really nice guy, seemed generally
interested although he said this was the first cable card he's dealt with
in the 10+ years he's been there. That gave me sort of an "oh boy" feeling.
The tech he called seemed to know a great deal of knowledge on cable
cards--the first words out his mouth were "they never set these things up
right"--so I immediately started feeling more comfortable. After about 10
minutes, he got everything setup on his side then started telling us
exactly what settings/pages to look at to see things flowing on the cable
card interface.
I saw in the ceton logs that CCI 00's were now being passed where CCI 02's
were being sent for everything before, but MCE still wasn't picking
anything up. After a little frustration I remembered reading about some
little nuance/bug with ceton or MCE that required a full screen/tabbed
screen flip to get MCE working, and sure enough, that did it. I don't know
if that actually did it just a timing coincidence, but I didn't care.
I pulled the card out of my win7 box, popped it into my linux mythtv box
and it immediately worked. 6 tuner bliss.
Appreciate all the help/sanity check's. I think it was Mike who originally
pointed out the CCI 02's to me--so that gave me something to really key off
of.
