I'm not beholden to perl if there's a better way to script a transcoding
job that keeps the database updated with the new file. I just need to
insert my command line applescript to do the transcoding. I only used perl
because there was a convenient script on the wiki, referenced earlier.
Is there a better way to do this on OSX?
