I did that in the past. In Philadelphia, we had a monopoly. The cable
company treated as such, a take it or leave it deal.
A few changes that I didn't like, the cable was cancelled and we
switched to DVD's.
I'm only over 2000 DVD titles now.

If a company makes a unilateral change that you don't like, you're free
to cancel. If they don't like it, your original contract had the channel
lineup that you wanted, you are welcome to tell them that you consider
the change a fundamental breach of contract.*
Even though their contract also stipulates that they're free to change
anything that they want to.

*Some companies are doing that year or more contract deal. Bail on the
contract early, pay a penalty. But, a fundamental breach of contract is
one that can be abandoned if you hold no faith that they'll fulfill the
standards within the contract. A material breach has severable options.
Yeah, I had to learn a bit about contract law, due to my DoD contracting
duties. Boy, but the Motrin company loved me back then!
