Hi John,

Thanks for the quick reply. Boy, It seems making DVD's is a hit or miss
situation with alot of my recordings. Yesterday I worked on getting one
of my girlfriends movies to DVD. Its a 12 gig movie, 1920x1080 and got
it down to a size workable with a DVD - below 4.7 gig. Now I noticed
that it didnt burn and started checking the logs. It seems dvdauthor
didnt like something and died.

I think I remember seeing some comments on the chmod errors and will
look up today and see about that. For the most part -- ls -l
/var/lib/mytharchive produces this:

drwxrwxrwx 2 mythtv mythtv 4096 Jan 26 16:46 config
drwxrwxrwx 2 mythtv mythtv 4096 Jan 26 17:11 logs
drwxrwxrwx 4 mythtv mythtv 4096 Jan 26 17:11 work

Thanks for your comments,

jdegraw
