Yes that grep shows mythtv user is member of video group. It was unlikely to be the problem because it would have caused other more severe problems if incorrect but never hurts to check.

My money is on Bill's comment, that those symlinks should point to /frontend0 not /net0 but troubleshooting udev rules is well beyond me.
