[mythtv-users] Fixing broken recordings

I have a bunch of recordings from the XXIX Olympics.  My reception was 
not the best, and the files have some issues, mostly with sound.

mplayer plays them just fine.  But when I try to commflag them or 
transcode them in myth, the jobs die wth:

Any thoughts on fixing these files?  I'm thinking I can use handbrake or 
some other transcoder to try and clean them up but what settings should 
I use?
