[mythtv-users] av renderer on frontend(-only) machine

My Son's Windows 8 machine seems to have found an "AV Renderer" service
on one of my frontend (only, no BE on it) machines around here.

Does 0.27 really have a UPnP AV Rendering service built into it?  I
wasn't aware that this had gotten added at some point.

Please don't confuse my query with the UPnP Media Server that I know
exists on the BE.  The particular machine that this "AV Renderer" is
being seen on it a FE machine only with no BE running on it at all.

So, has a "Renderer" really been added to the FE?

If not, it would be a wonderful addition.  :-)
