[mythtv-users] Mythutil ScanVideos not updating Video Metadata

My current setup - Backend only and dedicated frontend.

Every time I add a video, I had to go to Menu/Scan for changes. Now when I
do this, it automatically updates the artwork. But this was tedious since I
don't want to log on the frontend of the Backend system every time I have a
new video. Then I read about "mythutil --scanvideos" command. I thought
giving this CLI would mean the same thing as Menu/Scan for changes.

However, with this command, while it does find the new video; unfortunately
it does not update the metadata. For me, this doesn't help me since I still
have to launch the frontend on the Backend system, and go the new video to
press "W" to get the artwork.

Is there something I haven't done on my side to enable the update of
metadata or is what I am seeing normal?
