1. Yes, Myth does use the callsign to identify channels.

Although this is a very old thread, I believe the principles are still the  
same and it explains the rationale etc. Assuming you don't want to  
manually edit your callsigns on every rescan, it also details a 'quick  
fix' to update all your recording rules.
