What I do is I download the xml files to my server and run mythfilldatabase
on it directly.

I used the information from
http://xmltvwiki.timefor.tv/wiki/Mythtv_importerand adapted it for my
own use. It's not that hard to setup.

I also used xmltv.tvtab.la earlier, and have been in contact with Joakim
who runs the site. xmltv.se will still provide channel information for
everything that he can do automatically for free, but because tvtab.la has
been shutdown, he has no desire to develop anything on the site anymore. I
did have a couple of outages with xmltv.se before I switched and since
switching everything is working perfectly. That being said I do think that
Joakim is doing a great service to provide all the information for free,
and I have provided him with some code so that he can get the xmltv
listings working, so it should work ok with the channels that he doesn't
need to manually import.
