You have all the instructions in the previous message on how to get
your own compiled version running. There's nothing more to do, nor
skill required.
now that would help more in getting it tested, and in particular
knowing if if it solves your problem.

it solves mine, but obviously similar behaviours don't mean they all
have the same origin
