At the moment /var/run/lirc has only two files, lircd.pid and lircSerial

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     24 Feb 15 19:14 /dev/lircd ->
/var/run/lirc/lircSerial
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root      5 Feb 15 19:14 /dev/lircSerial -> lirc0
