Hi All-

I am having an issue with my Mythtv backend and frontend. The system is
working ok, but I am seeing that both the BE and FE are keeping one core of
the CPU at 100 or there abouts all of the time. This started about 6
months ago, but since it was working, I didn't want to mess with things. I
am running Mythbuntu the following build:
MythTV Version : v0.27-124-gd965061

I have 2 or 3 year old Intel I3 combined FE/BE.
Here is what top shows:

The system is recording a program right now, but the FE is idle. When the
system is not recording anything, it the issue remains unchanged. Further,
my second FE has the same issue even though it is also idle (not playing
video right now):

What can I do to track down the cause of the CPU usage? Both frontends and
the backend technically are working, although they are sometimes slow. I
have to think that there is something under the hood that is causing this.
 Please help.

Thank you anyone for the help in looking at this and giving me guidance.

Regards,
Andrew
