Another alternative *might* be to delete the history for an entire series. To do that:
- Highlight a recording you'd like to re-record
- Press Menu
- Select Recording Options -> Edit Recording Schedule
- Select Schedule Info
- Select Previously Recorded
- Press Enter/OK
- Select "Remove all episodes for this title"
I know this will allow previously recorded, watched and deleted episodes to re-record, but it may also allow you to re-record an existing episode. Depends on whether the scheduler queries the recorded table or just the oldrecorded table when deciding whether to record a given episode. Anyone know?
