Why don't you just replace the stock mythtranscode job with your script? That
would free up the User Job slot that you need.
There's no reason you have to leave the existing mythtranscode job in /usr/bin
(or wherever) if you're not using it. Just rename it and move your own script
there instead (or symbolic link to it).
