Having a similar problem.  Everything worked fine on 12.04/0.26; 
upgraded to 14.04/0.27 and had problems with Mythweb - not only those 
errors, but when accessing Mythweb from within my internal network, I 
get a "redirect loop" error; but if I access it from the outside 
internet, it works (though with some errors in 
/var/log/apache2/error.log, similar to those reported above).

I have tried this using both /var/www/ (as under 12.04) and 
/var/www/html as the DocumentRoot.  No difference.

I'm using htdigest, not .htaccess, for what it's worth.  It does 
authenticate properly, then I get the "redirect loop" in the browser.

Any thoughts?  Maybe a PHP issue?  It's not a permissions problem.
