[mythtv-users] gksudo gedit error

Greetings Mythizens, I'm getting the following error after using gksudo
gedit:

daryl at daryl-A780L3C:~$ gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub

(gedit:3013): Gtk-WARNING **: Calling Inhibit failed:
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files

There is a previous thread where this error is reported and the solution is
to use "gksudo gedit" instead of "sudo gedit"  Is there anything else I can
try to rectify this?
I'm wondering if this could be related to the problems I was having with
MCC, what do you think Thomas?
