I've been trying to upgrade the terrabyte with only it connected.

No to ? Steam?, I do have Qbittorrent, MCC, Gnome Gmail, Chrome,
Thunderbird. Are these dodgy?

After successful upgrade I will keep only one OS.
There was a report of not being able to delete "path to file" because "path
to file" is no empty. Looking at that with my home folder I could see
nothing in any of the directories listed in the path, maybe a . or .. file
should this be dealt with? the warning said something like "this may not
work well".
