[mythtv-users] Subtitle timing not correct (too fast)

Hi,

I have a video file with some subtitles. (.srt embedded in a MKV).

VLC plays this file back fine, however on MythTV subtitle timing is very weird.

About half the subs come up ok, while others flash up for just a split second.

I checked the timings in the actual .srt file, and each text on-screen time 
is around a second, and all look OK.
They also seem to correspond to what VLC is displaying.

Is there a subtitle error report or suchlike I can look at ?
It's playing back via VDPAU if that helps.
