It happens right after BIOS finishes initializing. Yours may be
configured to be hidden, so it would be hidden behind a black screen.
If so, hold shift while booting to make it show. You may also want to
edit the grub config to increase the timeout or always show it (not
hidden). This page details some of the options. Remember you have to
run sudo update-grub to make the configuration changes take effect.
