[mythtv-users] Missing text on all borders, Screen Wizard Blank

Since the latest mythtv updates my over scan seems to have changed radically, 
my mythbuntu gui is over flowing on all edges (Panasonic 42" plasma, 1280x720)

I went into the Screen Setup Wizard, but I just get a blank screen, no UI 
whatsoever. ESC doesn't work, I have to restart lightdm.
