     Yeah but that still comes down to the robustness of the video player
and is not really related to the fact that you are in Region 1 and the 
video is from Region 2 (or vice versa).

     A particular stream may not be playable in a particular version of
Myth. 

     I managed to stumble upon an interlaced DVD and that didn't work 
well in Myth at all. I also have some BD streams that aren't handled
well by the internal streams in 0.23 vs 0.27 or other players.
