PREFACE:
This is a new message, that in part is a follow-up to an earlier comment I made in a post with the subject line:
SECOND card in addition to the Hauppauge HVR-2250?

To repeat/rephrase...
I don't think my box's program schedule data is working correctly.
I DO have a trial subscription at schedulesdirect.org, but there just doesn't seem to be enough and enough accurate program data to merit a subscription. I suspect I have something set up wrong or not at all.
Here's what settings I do have:
-----
Under the MythTV Backend Setup:
4. Video Sources
(New video source)
(Delete all video sources)
Broadcast
Cable
When either Broadcast or Cable is selected, 5/6ths of the data is identical:
Listings Grabber: North American (schedulesdirect.org) (Internal)
User id: xxxx.xxxx at xxxxx.xxx
Password: xxxxxx
Data Direct Lineup: Comcast-Cable-Cable-55406- MN22623:-
x Perform EIT Scan (it IS checked)
Channel Frequency Table: "us-bcast" or "us-cable" <== The only difference between the two video sources.
-----
5. Input connections:
[DVB: /dev/adapter0/frontend0] (DVB Input) -> Broadcast
[DVB: /dev/adapter2/frontend0] (DVB Input) -> Cable
-----
BTW, for those of you who understand this thing, here's some more data:
dmesg | grep -i haup
[ 6.693488] CORE saa7164[0]: subsystem: 0070:8851, board: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 2250 [card=7,autodetected]
[ 6.889861] CORE cx23885[0]: subsystem: 0070:7801, board: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1800 [card=2,autodetected]
...and two more lines.
-----
** Anybody have an idea as to if and what I may have configured wrong?
.
