I understand now.  I did attempt to upgrade multiple times, so you are both
correct there.  I didn't realize that I was to run myth-setup after
upgrading and didn't attempt to run it until after I figured out that my
backend wasn't working.  I will restore a backup and attempt this again and
then look at the log if it fails.  Thanks.
