Well, it was described to me as a "race condition" (two threads fighting
over the same value) so the fact that it's not consistent makes sense.
However it doesn't sound like 0.27 is any worse than 0.25 (and probably
0.26 is about the same at this point, too--I had avoided it for a  while
because IVTV recording was completely broken), so when packages drop for
Gentoo I'll give it a spin.
