[mythtv-users] Mythbuntu defaulting to incorrect resolution

So I'm not the only one with this problem. I did some updates yesterday
and since then the resolution reverts to "auto" in nvidia-settings after
a reboot, which is for some reason 1280x720.

Adding

Option "UseEdid" "False"

to the "Screen" section in my xorg.conf resulted in only 800x600 being
available in nvidia-settings.

Next thing I tried was playing with the resolution and offset settings
in the frontend settings, but it looks like the offset has no effect
whatsoever.

I'll try the "solution" from the other sub thread. I too have xbmc
installed on that frontend.

I hope somebody will find a proper solution to this annoying problem.
