diff -rq MythCenter-wide_laptop /usr/share/mythtv/themes/MythCenter-wide
Files MythCenter-wide_laptop/recordings-ui.xml and 
/usr/share/mythtv/themes/MythCenter-wide/recordings-ui.xml differ

and that is the file I had edited to supress the fanart background
