Not that I use minimyth, as much as I like the concept of it, but for
me, the attraction is it's "firmware" like approach to handling FEs.

You don't manage a distro for each of your FEs, each with their own root
filesystem and each needing to have updates done on it individually etc.
Instead you deal with a single image that is used for all FEs and per-FE
customization is done at boot/run-time.

If minimyth were better supported (i.e. like mythbuntu, always
up-to-date with myth fixes etc.) I'd use it in a heartbeat.
