I recently went from 0.25 to 0.27 and then reinstalled to a new server
and imported the old database. Then mythfilldatabase via xmltv stopped
working and upon investigation I found that each channel was listed
multiple times in my database, and also the old satellite tuners were
still listed, even though I haven't used them in an age. Everything
seemed very confused. I certainly was. I am not saying myth was at
fault, more likely my user error frankly.

Anyway I deleted all tuners and both video sources and started again.
As scanning seems to work very well here, I was back up and running
before the News started at 6.00 pm (and certainly before the Doctor
Who 50th special the next day) and am very happy with my new clean
channels tables.
