I had hoped to get wise words. Someone must be fighting with systemd!
From the wiki http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Systemd_mythbackend_Configuration
Wants=dev-dvb-adapter200-frontend0.device
After=dev-dvb-adapter200-frontend0.device
Where on earth do the names come from?
Why would the BACKEND want a FRONTEND device (there is none, the frontends are remote)?
ie
/etc/udev/rules.d/99-mythbackend.rules
#
# Create systemd device units for capture devices
#
SUBSYSTEM=="dvb", TAG+="systemd"
Thanks
James
