[mythtv-users] Cablecos and QAM

The WOW (formerly Knology) cable company still transmits everything
except HBO, et.al. in clear QAM, which is the reason I went with them
for service. I had Directv, and AT&T DSL before, and now I'm paying
half from WOW. The Internet is way faster, and the phone is a phone.

I'm having problems with MythTV not working with QAM on the Ceton USB
tuner I bought, and WOW doesn't know a CableCard from the graham
cracker in their lunch box.

Hopefully if some of the others were to start losing customers to WOW
or OTA, they might change the practice.
